Dr. Sonia Zahra Elhadad of the Upper East Side of Manhattan, who was known for her sensitivity and temimus, passed away in a horrible apartment building fire two nights ago. The levaya will pass 770 tonight at 7:30 pm.
We are very saddened to announce the passing of Dr. Sonia Zahra bas David Elhadad in the horrible fire of an apt building in the Upper East Side of Manhattan two nights ago.
Dr. Elhadad was born and grew up in Ouezzane, Morocco, and later moved to NY. She worked at Cornell Hospital. She was known for her temimus, sensitivity, and nurturing personality.
She is survived by R’ Shmuel Elhadad from Brooklyn Heights and other siblings.
The levaya will pass by 770 at 7:30pm, Wednesday, 3 Kislev, on the way to Eretz Yisroel.
