Each year, during the farbrengen of Yud Beis–Yud Gimmel Tammuz, the Rebbe would urge Chassidim to support the Reshet Oholei Yosef Yitzchok network, established in honor of the Baal HaGeulah, the Frierdiker Rebbe. He offered astounding brachos to those who pledged and donated, quoting Chazal that Hashem repays many times over.

In the Rebbe’s own words:

“It’s now customary on 12th-13th Tammuz to donate towards maintaining and expanding ‘Oholei Yosef Yitzchak Lubavitch’ institutions, and establishing new ones. Contributions can be made anytime from the Rebbe’s birthday until his circumcision day, eight days later.”
