Tambourines Academy recently performed for the community, and are now opening new spots for another production at the end of the school year.
Tambourines students were excited to recently perform for local Crown Heights events, showcasing with confidence what they’ve learned so far. Each girl got a chance to shine in the spotlight with her unique solo!
“It was so beautiful! It’s evident how much effort went into it. The girls were so proud of themselves!” says Ruthy Sperlin, a proud Tambourines Parent.
The Academy is excited to begin their new term this week, as they prepare for “The Mimi and Simi Musical” to be presented to the community at the end of the year. There are a few spots left for new students to join.
Tambourines Academy is a singing and dancing school in our community where girls who love the performing arts have the opportunity to develop this part of themselves in a chassidishe environment. The girls gain skills and confidence while enjoying themselves in the experience.
Due to popular demand, the academy now expands its young ballet classes ranging from ages 3-6 on Sunday mornings. The class emphasizes the foundations of ballet technique, creative movement and self-expression under the guidance of trained instructor, Ilana Klein, while using exclusively chassidishe music.
The Academy now offers women’s dance classes as well. It takes place every Sunday 5:15-6:15 PM for ages 20-35. The class incorporates a fusion of dance styles, led by its trained instructors.
