Chaim Mamadov, a 28-year-old Lubavitcher bochur from Russia who was stabbed in the neck outside the Rubashkin home on President St, is doing much better and is on his way to a full recovery.

On Monday around 1:00 PM, Mamadov, who has studied and received semicha in the Chabad Yeshiva of Moscow, was at the Rubashkin home on President Street which serves as both a soup kitchen and a venue for small events and simchos, when he was suddenly attacked.

According to one report, Mamadov was carrying a suitcase when the suspect suddenly attacked him on the front steps, stabbing him without warning. The attacker reportedly shouted, “There’s no one here to help you,” before continuing the unprovoked assault.

The victim sustained a neck wound and was quickly treated by Crown Heights Hatzalah, who provided immediate medical care at the scene. He was then transported to Kings County Hospital, where his condition has since stabilized. Doctors say it’s a miracle that his main artery wasn’t severed.

Encouragingly, the victim’s condition is improving and doctors are optimistic that he will make a full recovery.

Please continue to pray for the complete recovery of Chaim ben Linda.
