The Crown Heights community showed up en masse at the Arches to show support for Bonei Olam Chabad, who launched their annual fundraiser, with a one million dollar goal of helping 134 couples achieve the dream of parenthood.

Last week’s packed room at the Arches was an extraordinary show of support for Bonei Olam Chabad, who launched their annual fundraiser, with a one million dollar goal of helping 134 couples achieve the dream of parenthood. Donate now at boneiolam.org/chabad.

Local shuls and shtiebels, men of all ages from the Crown Heights community showed up en masse to support Bonei Olam Chabad. With the nostalgic kumzitz featuring Abie Rotenberg, Shlomo Simcha and the Prime Singers Choir, incredible food and drinks,  the room was enveloped with unity, gratitude and hope. Celebrating the B”H miraculous news of 55 babies born within the Bonei Olam Chabad branch this year alone, the evening was off to a joyous start.

A short film sharing the fundamental yearning of continuity was presented featuring Schnuer Brook and his legendary Bubby Dusya Rivkin a”h, and his moving memory of the last time they spoke. Rabbi Bochner, founder and director of Bonei Olam addressed the audience, expressing profound gratitude to the many supporters of Bonei Olam in Crown Heights. Their generosity paved the way for the organization to extend its help directly to the 134 couples within our community desperately waiting to start their individual treatments. The promise of unwavering support from Rabbi Bochner reminded everyone in the room of the power and impact of a community helping each other from within.

Thanks to the brilliant host, Shmuel Wagner, who experienced his own emotional journey to fatherhood, inspired everyone the importance of every dollar donated to Bonei Olam. A dollar from the Rebbe was generously donated by Ezzie and Miriam Schaffran in appreciation of the amazing work of Rabbi & Rebbetzin Bochner. In memory of Tzipra bas Ezriel Tzvi Hirsh and Bentzion Dovid ben Shimon Eliezer, to be given to any person who adopted a couple that night for $25,000.

To donate to Bonei Olam Chabad and turn a couple’s greatest hope into our community’s future, donate now at boneiolam.org/chabad.
