Young anash in Crown Heights don’t need to look far for quality weekly shiurim.
For several years now, Merkaz Avreichim, at 466 Albany Ave in Crown Heights, holds a daily Chassidus shiur with Rabbi Fishel Oster, maggid shiur in Beis Midrash Oholei Torah. The shiur, Monday -Thursday 7:15-7:45 AM and Sunday 7:45-8:30 AM, is now covering the Rebbe’s weekly maamarim from תש”מ.
Now, due to popular demand, they have launched two weekly shiurim for the community.
The first is Gemara B’iyun by Rabbi Fishel Oster, offering yungeleit a yeshiva-style learning experience. The shiur takes place on Tuesday nights 8:45-9:30 PM, and currently covers Masechta Kiddushin, which is being learned this year in Lubavitcher yeshivos around the world.
The second session is likkutei sichos b’chavrusa for 45 minutes followed by a summary of the sicha taught by Rabbi Shea Werner, previously rov of anash in Oak Park, Michigan. The shiur is on Thursday nights, in preparation for Shabbos, 8:30-9:30 PM.
Both weekly shiurim are followed by maariv.
