Administrators and principals of all Yeshivos and schools in Crown Heights, gathered in Lubavitch Yeshiva on Thursday night to discuss the threat of coronavirus.
The staff gathered to speak about the rapidly spreading coronavirus, which has shuttered schools around the country and brought full communities to a standstill. Different possibilities were discussed, and the consensus was to keep the schools open for the time being.
The schools send out a message to the parent bodies, informing them of the meeting and the decision. “As of now, all locals Yeshivos and schools are open,” the message read.
The message assured the parents that the schools are in touch with both local Rabbonim and doctors and “are committed to work together to coordinate our response and plan of action should there be any developments.”
