Connecticut Head Shliach Marks 75th at the Ohel
Rabbi Yisroel Deren, Head Shliach of Connecticut, celebrated his 75th birthday at the Rebbe’s Ohel, joined by shluchim from across the state, members of the Stamford community, close family, and friends, with a farbrengen that lasted several hours.
Dozens of guests – including shluchim from across the state, members of the Stamford community, close family, and friends – joined Rabbi Yisroel Deren, Head Shliach of Connecticut, as he celebrated his 75th birthday near the Rebbe’s Ohel.
After entering the Ohel together with members of the community, Rabbi Deren held a warm farbrengen in a nearby room that lasted several hours, as friends and fellow shluchim came to wish him l’chaim and offer heartfelt brachos for continued hatzlacha in his shlichus.
