Connecticut Head Shliach Leads Pre-Yud Shevat Farbrengen
Hundreds of Anash in Yerushalayim gathered for a central farbrengen in preparation for Yud Shevat, marking the 75th anniversary of the Rebbe formally accepting the nesius, with Rabbi Yisrael Deren, Head Shliach to Connecticut.
Hundreds of Chassidim and members of the wider community in Yerushalayim gathered last week for a central Chassidic farbrengen, in preparation for Yud Shevat, marking the 75th anniversary of the Rebbe foramlly accepting the nesius.
The grand farbrengen took place in an uplifting atmosphere, with participants singing niggunim and engaging in heartfelt words of inspiration that continued late into the night.
The keynote address was delivered by Rabbi Yisrael Deren, Head Shliach to the State of Connecticut.
Throughout the night, Rabbi Deren captivated the audience for hours, sharing personal stories from shlichus, and the importance of getting ready for Yud Shevat.
Rabbi Deren emphasized the timeless responsibility placed upon every Chassid in our generation – to internalize the Rebbe’s vision of bringing Moshiach by strengthening our personal avodah, and to do the Rebbe’s Mivtzoim and Takonos, as well as learning the Rebbe’s Torah.
