Tens of Crown Heights residents showed up to celebrate the miraculous recovery and homecoming of R’ Refoel Aron Baitz on Wednesday afternoon.
The large crowd gathered after the Baitz family invited the community on Tuesday to come celebrate the miracle together with them. The invitation quickly spread to the entire community, and many came to dance and thank Hashem for the recovery of a dear community member.
In the message sent to the community, the family noted that their father caught corona the Shabbos after Purim in the Ksav Sofer Shul and was put on a ventilator shortly after. Unfortunately, numerous other members of that minyan caught it, and a few passed away.
“Baruch Hashem, our father survived the virus and is finally coming home,” they said.
Upon his arrival, he was greeted with a loud bracha of Shehechiyanu and dancing by neighbors and friends.
