Thousands of chassidim from heimishe communities came out on Chof Daled Teves, the yahrzeit of the Alter Rebbe, to browse and purchase seforim of chassidus from the traveling Chassidus truck.

The sale, organized by Ohr HaChassidus, brought the truck to Williamsburg, Borough Park, Monsey, and Kiryas Yoel, offering thousands the opportunity to buy seforim at significantly discounted prices to help spread chassidus.

As the truck traveled between locations, bochurim and men from the different communities came out in large numbers, with hundreds purchasing seforim, particularly those of the Alter Rebbe. Within a short span, nearly all the seforim were sold out.

The mobile bookstore, Baderech, is part of Ohr HaChasidus, a Crown Heights-based organization that brings the light of chassidus to Jews around the world.

Baderech regularly visits frum communities across New York and New Jersey, allowing people to buy and borrow seforim right in their neighborhoods, including discounted copies of the Alter Rebbe’s works and other chassidus classics.

This initiative is part of a broader effort to make chassidus accessible to Jews of all backgrounds, ensuring these important works reach as many hands as possible.
