Colel Chabad Holds Grand Bar Mitzvah for Orphans at the Kosel

Many orphaned Bar Mitzvah boys from across Israel gathered yesterday morning for Shacharis at the Kosel, where they put on tefillin for the first time, surrounded by family and friends. From there, they continued to Binyanei Ha’uma for a grand celebration graced by esteemed Rabbanim and prominent dignitaries.

The annual Bar Mitzvah celebration organized by Colel Chabad for orphaned boys from across Israel took place yesterday in Yerushalayim.

The event began in the morning at the Kosel, where the Bar Mitzvah boys gathered alongside hundreds of their family members.

Upon arrival, the boys were warmly welcomed by the Colel Chabad staff. Following Shacharis and aliyah to the Torah, all participants proceeded to the main celebration held at Binyanei Ha’uma in Yerushalayim. This central event was graced by leading Torah authorities,mashpi’im, esteemed Rabbanim, government ministers, members of Knesset, and other prominent dignitaries.
