An interactive program by Vaad Ohr Vechom helps children learn about Yud Daled Kislev, draw lessons and give “wedding anniversary gifts” of Torah and tzedakah.
As we approach Yud Daled Kislev, the 91st anniversary of the Rebbe and Rebbetzin, Vaad Or Vechom Hahiskashrus is pleased to share an all-new mega-site.
The site is filled with many resources including ready-to-print articles in English and Hebrew, Learning Material, Videos and more helpful material related to the Rebbe and Rebbetzin’s chassuna in Warsaw and the celebration of Yud Daled Kislev throughout the years in 770, with the goal of helping your family, school and community prepare for and celebrate this joyous day in the most effective way possible.

In addition, Vaad Or Vechom are also pleased to once again share the newly updated version of the interactive school curriculum that was released and saw great success last year, with the goal of helping students appreciate the importance of this date and to apply its lessons to their lives through joyous celebrations and through giving spiritual “wedding anniversary gifts” of Torah and tzedakah.
The interactive lessons – using storytelling, PowerPoint presentations including pictures, schedules and more – will give children of all ages the opportunity as well as the ability to relive these moments and relate to them in a relevant way, engaging them in a meaningful experience of hiskashrus to the Rebbe.
Developed under the guidance of Rabbi Elkanah Shmotkin at JEM in partnership with Vaad Or V’chom Hahiskashrus and written by Mrs. Devorie Krasnianski and spearheaded by Rabbi Mendel Shemtov.
