Hundreds of children from Crown Heights day camps gathered in 770 Eastern Parkway on Tuesday for a spirited rally marking Yud Beis–Yud Gimmel Tammuz, the chag hageulah of the Frierdiker Rebbe, celebrating the victory of mesiras nefesh for Torah and Mitzvos.

Hundreds of children from Crown Heights day camps gathered in 770 Eastern Parkway on Tuesday for a spirited rally marking Yud Beis–Yud Gimmel Tammuz, the chag hageulah of the Frierdiker Rebbe, celebrating the victory of mesiras nefesh for Torah and Mitzvos.

The event, organized by Tzivos Hashem, opened with the children listening to a sicha of the Rebbe and joining together in reciting the twelve pesukim with chayus. Every child was handed a coin, which was then given to tzedakah.

A special video presentation vividly portrayed the story of the Frierdiker Rebbe’s arrest and miraculous geulah.

The rally concluded with lively singing of the Niggun Yud Beis Tammuz, the Beinuni, the Alter Rebbe’s Niggun, and “We Want Moshiach Now,” led by Chony Milecki and Shmuli Horowitz.
