Chief Rabbi of Israel Rabbi Yitzchak Yosef began his visit to Russia at the Marina Rosha Shul in central Moscow. Rabbi Yosef arrived as the guest of Russian Chief Rabbi Berel Lazar and will be the guest of honor at the Yud Tes Kislev farbrengen tomorrow night.

Chief Rabbi Yosef gave his counterpart his new book Igros HaRishon L’Tzion which was published this week, in honor of Chanukah.

During the day, Rabbi Yosef is expected to visit Jewish communities, yeshivas, schools and other community institutions throughout the city.
