Since 5714, when the Rebbe emphasized the importance of eating authentic Shmurah Matzah, Lubavitch Chabad of Illinois has been facilitating its widespread distribution. For nearly five decades, this initiative has continued to grow, ensuring that more families can partake in this special mitzvah.
Rabbi Meir Moscowitz, regional director of Lubavitch Chabad of Illinois, highlighted that the matzah will be distributed by Shluchim across the 50 Chabad centers in Illinois ahead of Pesach. He noted that each year, demand continues to rise, as handmade Shmurah Matzah becomes an essential part of even more Seder tables. Rabbi Moscowitz thanked Rabbi Yitzchok Bergstein and Rabbi Levi Notik for all their effort on behalf of Mivtzah Matzah.
