As per the Rebbe’s horaa and request, Cheder Ohr Menachem opened its doors at the onset of Chodesh Elul. At an assembly, the boys heard shofar and met their new melamdim, after which they took to their new classroom and desks and began learning.

As the new school year began, the kinderlach at Cheder Ohr Menachem beamed with excitement — the younger ones stepping into school for the very first time, and the older ones joyfully reuniting with friends and meeting their new teachers.

Talmidim joined a joyous Elul assembly, were inspired to a new special zman, heard shofar and met their new melamdim, after which every talmid took to their new classroom and desk, and began learning.

Everyone received delicious lekach – לשנה טובה ומתוקה – starting Elul in the sweetest way!
