Chidon participants and the 8th grade Kol Hatorah Kulah students of Cheder Chabad Florida were rewarded for their outstanding work with a memorable and enriching trip to Crown Heights.
Acknowledging the achievements of the students who participated in the Tzivos Hashem Chidon, an exciting trip to New York was organized for them. The exhilarating trip came after many months of learning that the Cheder students dedicated their personal time to, both at home and at school, studying for the Chidon.
The 8th grade girls from Kol Hatorah Kulah, Shayna Feldman, Rivka Feldman, Gaby Fleischmann, Rochel Levitin, and Myta Katz, embarked on a week-long adventure to Crown Heights, joining Tzivos Hashem’s three day trip as well as a program put together by their school. They enjoyed the luxury of flying on a charter jet and a packed week filled with learning and fun.
From the younger grades, three contestants proudly represented their school on stage: Yocheved Eber, Pessi Matusof, and Menucha Rivkin.
The visit to Crown Heights was filled with a blend of both fun and spiritual experiences, starting with Chassidus and Davening in 770. Students also experienced a visit to the Rebbe’s Room and the Ohel, a tour of the Rebbe’s Library, and the Matzah bakery. They also enjoyed
time at JEM, Suite 302, Farbrengens, and exploring the vibrant streets of Crown Heights.
The action-packed Chidon experience featured various engaging activities such as the Hakhel game show, bowling, and a visit to the American Dream water park. While taking the girls around, Morah Chaya Matusof, who coordinated the trip, remarked “It might be cold outside, but it’s warm in our hearts!”
A special thank you goes to Rabbi Bentzy and Morah Shoshy Deray, Cheder’s Tzivos Hashem base commanders, for organizing this incredible trip, and creating lifelong memories for these exceptional students.
