Camp Chayolei Hamelech is preparing to open this summer with the state’s approval, and plans to expand their space to allow more campers to attend.
A email sent by camp director Shloime Rutman announced the opening.
“We are glad to inform you that this past Friday the Governor of Pennsylvania announced that overnight camps will be allowed to operate in the state once their county enters into “Phase Green”. This week we will enter the final stage before “phase green”. This means that in a week or two we will enter “Phase Green”, allowing us to operate this coming summer,” he said.
Due to our very spacious campgrounds, they have managed to create more space to accommodate additional campers for the upcoming summer.

“We have made contingency plans for exciting in-house entertainment to replace any scheduled trips depending on the final Health Dept. guidelines,” said Rutman.
The camp said that they are the process of preparing a safety plan based on the guidelines from the Dept. of Health and the CDC, to ensure a safe and healthy summer for all campers and staff.
“We are very optimistic that with Hashem’s help, we will continue to update you with good news. We are looking forward to a great summer together with Moshiach in Yerusholayim,” Rutman said.
