A delegation of Chabad shluchim and Rabbonim led by Rabbi Shabtai Slavaticki were warmly received by the Satmar Rebbe, Rabbi Aaron Teitelbaum, at his private home in Kiryas Yoel, New York.

A delegation of Chabad shluchim and Rabbonim were warmly received by the Satmar Rebbe, Rabbi Aaron Teitelbaum, at his private home in Kiryas Yoel, New York.
The delegation was led by Belgium’s head shliach Rabbi Shabtai Slavaticki, along with his son-in-law Rabbi Mendel Tvardovitz, Rosh Yeshiva of Tomchei Temimim in Antwerp, his son Rabbi Moshe Slavaticki, Rosh Yeshiva of Yeshivas Lubavitch Baltimore, and and his sons who are shluchim all around the world.
All of the meeting’s participants engaged in a lengthy Torah discussion on various topics including several rulings of the Alter Rebbe in Shulchan Aruch.
The Satmar Rebbe, who over the years visited several Chabad houses, said that he was moved by the visit of the Rebbe’s shluchim. He also brought up the fact that he is a descendant of the Alter Rebbe.
After the visit, one of the Rebbe’s gabboim shared that while many people were received by the Rebbe on that day, none them were received for such a long time and accorded such respect as the Chabad delegation.
