Carrying a Family Forward After Unimaginable Loss
Today, the Elewitz children rise from shiva and begin their lives in a world that has been forever changed.
Today, the Elewitz children rise from shiva and begin their lives in a world that has been forever changed.
After three long years of battling a devastating illness with strength, faith, and quiet courage, Chanie Elewitz, a devoted mother of six, was taken far too soon. As a young mother, only 48 years old, she was her children’s entire world.
Chanie was everything to them. She took care of every detail of their lives—emotionally, physically, spiritually. She was the steady presence, the listening ear, the source of comfort, guidance, and unconditional love. Through her illness, her greatest concern was never herself, but her children: making sure they had everything they needed, from their favorite dinner to the proper support.
Now, her six unmarried children are facing a future without the mother who anchored their lives. As a community, we cannot replace their mother. But we can help carry them through these uncertain times. Let’s alleviate the financial burden for Chanie’s family.
Your support will help ensure they can continue their education, move toward marriage, and rebuild their lives with the security and care their mother so deeply wanted for them.
May every act of generosity be a zechus for Chana bas Shmuel Nota Hakohen and may her children be surrounded by strength, comfort, and the knowledge that they are not alone.
