Can this article influence our community?
No.
But you’re not an article.
You’re a Real Woman, filled with Divine Courage.
Let’s talk about it.
Remember when you were little, lying in bed at night, convinced something scary was hiding under it? Then, you’d get up, turn on the light, peek under the bed, and—nothing. Everything was just fine. That light, shining brightly, made everything clear.
We’re about to shine a light on something that has been considered “uncool” and “unpopular” to talk about. But now is the time. It’s time to step outside of our comfort zones, to do more to bring the Geula. We are ready. We won’t shy away. We will walk forward with pride and confidence, even when it feels challenging.
Women of Iron Unite was born from a deep desire to make a difference and protect Eretz Yisroel. We know that as women, we have an innate power to bring about change. We embraced Chitas as a means of protection, we took on the three mitzvos of women as inspiration and empowerment, and now, we are embracing Tznius—both as a way to strengthen our personal connection with Hashem and as a channel to draw down revealed goodness.
So, let’s talk about Tznius and what it really means.
Before we began this journey, we did some serious soul-searching. We took a moment to pause and ask serious and important questions: How can we approach this topic in a way that is positive, acknowledging the challenges many women face? How can we speak to women at different ages and stages of life? And most importantly, how can we launch this initiative in a way that makes everyone feel understood, validated, and motivated to take one small step toward growth in this area?
We know this topic is both important and sensitive. It’s filled with various opinions, feelings, and perspectives. But we are all Real Women, each of us with divine courage—courage given to us by Hashem. There’s nothing too big for us to handle. We can face it and triumph with the guidance, teachings, and blessings of the Rebbe.
The Rebbe spoke with deep passion about this topic, quoting “Vehaya Mechanecha Kadosh” (“And Your camp will be holy”) in the most refined and noble way. With unwavering confidence in us as Noshim Tzidkonios, the responsibility was placed in our hands, knowing what we are capable of achieving. Tznius, holiness, and boundaries were emphasized as a reflection of our connection to Hashem, in all aspects—thought, speech, and action.
We are ready to embrace the power and influence we have and not shy away. We can make it relevant and practical, each of us in our own way. This is your personal step to grow, elevate, and make an impact.
