Camp Concludes Inspiring ‘Tishrei by the Rebbe’ Program

Building on last year’s success, CGI UK organized another “Tishrei by the Rebbe” program, enabling bochurim from England to spend the month of Tishrei at 770, participating in davening, farbrengens, mivtzoyim, and simchas beis hashoeva celebrations.

After the success of last year’s “Tishrei by the Rebbe” trip, the CGI UK Masmidim staff aimed to enhance the experience this summer. They were amazingly met by the enthusiasm from bochurim as Tishrei approached. During camp, the boys engaged in an exclusive mivtza, including daily mikvah, learning Chitas and Rambam, and adopting new Chassidishe practices, all motivated by the chance to win tickets to the Rebbe.

A big thank you to Shloimy Shtern for dedicating weeks on arranging this shturemdike program!

As Tishrei approached, inquiries poured in about the program, leading staff to realize that participation would exceed last year’s numbers. They quickly adjusted their plans to accommodate the growing group, ensuring everything was ready by the time the bochurim arrived.

On the second day of Chol HaMoed, the group departed from London and Manchester and were warmly welcomed upon landing at JFK. They enjoyed meals, davening at 770, and a lively farbrengen with Rabbi Levi Levin before celebrating Simchas Beis Hashoeva.

Thank you to the Mashpi’im Rabbi Levi Levin, Rabbi Mendel Yusewitz Menahel of Ohr Menachem, Rabbi Yisroel Noach Lipsker Mashpia in Oholei Torah Mesivta, and Rabbi Folly Dubov.

Throughout their stay, the bochurim davened in 770, shared meals in nearby sukkahs, went on mivtzoyim, and attended farbrengens every night. The trip culminated in the vibrant celebrations of Shemini Atzeres and Simchas Torah, leaving a lasting impression on the bochurim.

Tremendous thanks to Rabbi Folly Dubov for guiding the program, Rabbi Shmuli Brown for support, and the Slavin, Stolik, Wilhelm, Barnett, Kozliner, Brochshtat, Weinbaum, Sternberg, Blasenstein, and Shtern families for hosting. A special thanks to Chovevei Torah Zal bochurim of Shiur Beis and the dedicated UK staff for organizing the trip.

Yisroel Andrusier, Eli Bronstein, Dovi Pink, Levi Rapoport, Avrohom Yaakov Borenstein, Yudi Brown, and Yanki Kahan.

Thank you to Rabbi Moshe Rubashkin for your support.
