Buffalo Anash Farbreng Together on Yud Tes Kislev

Buffalo was alive with inspiration and joy on the evening of Yud Tes Kislev, as they gathered for a heartfelt farbrengen with Rabbi Heschel Greenberg, Rabbi Moshe Gurary, Rabbi Yosef Yitzchok Munitz, and Rabbi Shimmy Weinbaum.

Buffalo was alive with inspiration and joy on the evening of Yud Tes Kislev, as the local Jewish community; men, women and children gathered for a heartfelt Farbrengen in honor of the “Rosh Hashanah of Chassidus” which continued into the wee hours of the morning.

After a Daver Malchus video of the Rebbe, a siyum masechet was made by Rabbi Heschel Greenberg, followed by a siyum and haschala of Hayom Yom by Rabbi Moshe Gurary, and a siyum and haschala on the daily shiur in Tanya by Rabbi Yosef Yitzchok Munitz. A community Chalukas Hashas was also announced and divided among community members.

Held at the community’s Jewish school Ohr Temimim, the Farbrengen drew participants from all walks of life, united by their love for Torah and Chassidus. The evening featured Rabbi Shimmy Weinbaum, the dynamic Director of Tzivos Hashem, as the guest speaker. Rabbi Weinbaum’s engaging and passionate style captivated the audience as he shared stories of the Rebbe, practical lessons from the teachings of Chassidus, and the profound relevance of Yud Tes Kislev in contemporary life.

Rabbi Weinbaum emphasized the importance of spreading the light of Torah and mitzvos and encouraged attendees to strengthen their personal commitment to acts of kindness and learning. Drawing on his leadership in Tzivos Hashem, he also inspired the younger members of the audience to embrace their role as “soldiers in Hashem’s army,” fulfilling the mission to bring more goodness and holiness into the world.

The Farbrengen was filled with soulful singing, lively discussions, and heartfelt blessings. Chassidishe niggunim set the tone for the event, stirring emotions and creating an atmosphere of spiritual unity.

As the evening concluded, attendees left uplifted and motivated, carrying the spirit of Yud Tes Kislev into their daily lives. The Farbrengen not only celebrated the historical significance of the day but also reinforced its timeless message: the transformative power of Chassidus to illuminate the world and bring the revelation of Moshiach closer.

This special evening in Buffalo, NY, will undoubtedly leave a lasting impression, serving as a beacon of inspiration and connection for the community.
