Brighton Beach Celebrated Mitteler Rebbe’s Release with Bar Mitzvah
The Russian Jewish community in Brighton Beach celebrated Yud Kislev with a bar mitzvah of a young bochur from Eretz Yisroel. Rabbi Dovber Baitman, the boy’s father, led an inspiring farbrengen for all the assembled.
Rabbi Dovber Baitman from Israel, who is visiting New York to celebrate his son’s Bar Mitzvah by the Rebbe, led an inspirational Yud Kiselv Farbrengen at F.R.E.E. of Brighton Beach under the leadership of the shliach Rabbi Hershel Okonov.
The Farbrengen began with the Bar Mitzvah bochur saying the mamer, followed by a beautiful and moving Farbrengen.
Rabbi Baitman shared inspirational stories and explained the relevance of the Chag Hageulah to all those present.
Rabbi Baitman spoke about the warm and chassidishe atmosphere he feels when coming to F.R.E.E. of Brighton Beach, it feels like coming to visit family.
