F.R.E.E. of Brighton Beach brought Chanuka light and cheer to thousands of Jews living in Brooklyn’s Russian-speaking neighborhoods.

The events are arranged by the Veteran shliach to F.R.E.E. of Brighton Beach Rabbi Hershel Okonov and his sons.

Over Chanukah community leaders and local officials come to join in the Grand Menorah Lighting, amongst them Assemblyman Alec Brook Krasny, Councilwoman Inna Vernikov and Steven Margulis from Assemblyman Mikhail Novakhov’s office and more.

The beautiful Manorah stands as a tall and proud sign of yidishkeit in the center of Brighton Beach.
