East Coast Hatzalahs Meet in Brooklyn

New York – An entire block in the East New York neighborhood was a sea of red, white, blue and yellow Wednesday afternoon as dozens of Hatzolah trucks, their snake on a stick logo prominently displayed, lined up for a Hatzolah seminar.

Hatzolah divisions from across the East Coast gathered in the eastern Brooklyn neighborhood for an afternoon to see how each can learn something from another. Yellow-vested volunteers milled around, inspecting the various trucks, stretchers and technology and examining the equipment.

The event took place at the garage belonging to Senior Care EMS’s Brooklyn Base, whose chief executive officer, Michael Vatch, is a paramedic and coordinator of Hatzolah’s Queens division.
