951 boys descend upon Crown Heights for Chidon competition.
Following last week’s successful girls session, 951 boys from all over the world gather in Crown Heights in anticipation of the annual International Chidon Sefer Hamitzvos Shabbaton. Beginning Thursday, the participants will be treated to a four-day program with a packed schedule of activities including trips, farbrengens, and warm-up competitions. The Shabbaton culminates in a grand tournament based on information from the Rambam’s Sefer Hamitzvos and the winners of this year’s championship will be crowned.
Boys’ competition will be held Sunday, 11:45 a.m. at the Newark Symphony Hall in Newark, NJ. Tickets are available here.
