Bochurim and Boys Celebrate 15 Elul at Nyack Tomchei Temimim
Bochurim of the Lubavitch Yeshiva in Nyack, New York, marked the yom hisyasdus of Tomchei Temimim with a farbrengen with Zhitomir shliach Rabbi Shlomo Wilhelm. By day, talmidim of Cheder Chabad Zichron Shmuel visited the yeshiva, where they learned about Tomchei Temimim and danced joyously.

The yeshiva of Tomchei Tmimim in Nyack, New York, marked the founding day of Tomchei Tmimim on 15 Elul with lively farbrengens at night and joyous dancing by day.
On the evening of this special day, the bochurim gathered for a warm farbrengen with the distinguished guest, Rabbi Shlomo Wilhelm, shliach to Zhitomir, Ukraine. For many hours, he farbrenged with chayus, inspiring the talmidim on the immense zechus of learning in Tomchei Tmimim and the tremendous responsibility that comes with it.
Also participating in the farbrengen were the yeshiva’s mashpia, Rabbi Yosef Klyne, and the guest’s son, Rabbi Binyomin Wilhelm, mashpia in Shiur Alef. The farbrengen concluded with joyous dancing.
The following day, after seder nigleh, spirited dancing broke out once again, this time joined by the talmidim of Cheder Chabad Zichron Shmuel of Nyack, who came to spend the special day in Tomchei Tmimim.
After a short farbrengen where the bochurim spoke to the children about the significance of the day, the yeshiva and cheder talmidim together erupted in prolonged rikudim, filling the yeshiva with simcha and chayus.
