Rabbonim, Mashpiim, Shluchim, and the entire student body of Chovivei Torah gathered in the Zal last week to celebrate a unique and momentous occasion.
The event was to celebrate the completion of Shas, a truely significant achievement, by on Hatomim Hashliach Avrohom Boruch Pevzner, son of R’ Sholom Pevzner of Crown Heights.
It was only two years ago that Avrohom Boruch began his study, with the goal of giving the Rebbe a present in honor of the 70th anniversary of his leadership on Yud Shvat this year.
Among the many Rabbonim who joined the celebration were Rabbi Yosef Braun moro d’asra and member of Crown Heights Beis Din, Rabbi Zushe Winner Rosh Yeshiva of Chovevei Torah Rosh Yeshiva, and Rabbi Yossi Paltiel. A special guest at the siyum was the grandfather of the mesayem, Rabbi Nosson Kanelsky, who traveled from Eretz Yisroel especially to participate in the celebration.
The siyum and Seudas Mitzvah were arranged by Rabbi Mendel Blau, menahel of Chovivei Torah.
