The city of Bnei Brak made history this week, overseeing what is being described as the largest Kimcha D’Pischa campaign ever conducted in the city known for its Torah and Chassidus.
The unprecedented effort comes as a result of a unique partnership between the Bnei Brak municipality, led by Mayor Rabbi Chanoch Zeibert, and the veteran tzedakah organization Colel Chabad.
Tens of thousands of families across the city are now benefiting from the initiative, receiving substantial financial assistance to help them prepare for Pesach with dignity and peace of mind.
The Bnei Brak municipality issued a special message of appreciation to the leadership of Colel Chabad, as well as to the Meromim Foundation, “for your steadfast support of the families of Bnei Brak, and for your devoted and warm-hearted mobilization toward the success of the citywide Kimcha D’Pischa project, in a manner of cheirus, freedom.”
In the letter of thanks, signed by Mayor Rabbi Zeibert and Deputy Mayor Rabbi Yehoshua Mandel, the city expressed: “On behalf of the residents of the city, from all communities and backgrounds, we extend our heartfelt gratitude for your strong partnership and boundless generosity, which has become a pillar of support for thousands of families and children throughout the city.”
