Parents, family, and friends filled the “Auditorium” in Bnei Brak to join the talmidim of the Bnei Menachem Lubavitcher Cheder in Bnei Brak as they celebrated a year of accomplishment and achievement.
It’s hard to describe the joy that filled the hall, as well as the tension that permeated the air when the groups were called up to receive their awards and diplomas. The diplomas that describe each talmid’s individual accomplishment – be it in learning, in davening, Gemoroh and Halochoh, as well as several other categories, both winners and runners up.
So were called up to the stage group after group, each according to his accomplishments throughout the year, as family and friends showed their love, and loud applause filled the hall.
The undisputed most exciting moment of the evening was definitely the time of the gorel=raffle when three exciting prizes were raffled off. Those talmidim that were part of the Tzivos Hashem program all year and finished their missions were able to enter the raffle.
The prizes that were raffled off were: A beautiful set of seforim. A dollar from the Rebbe. A flight to the Rebbe together with a parent.
The gorel was supervised by Reb Shmuel Greenfeld, as well as by Attorney Reb Shachar Valner.
The Grand/First Prize – A trip to the Rebbe together with a parent – Avrohom Ludmir, who very excitedly went up on stage together with his father to accept his prize.
The Second Prize – a dollar from the Rebbe – Moshe Naftalin. He too went up to the stage with his father, both very emotional and excited with the prize received.
The Third Prize: – A beautiful set of seforim – Yosef Yitzchok Cohen. He was joined by his father on stage when going up to receive his beatiful gift.
Throughout the evening the emotions were high and the joy raw, among family and friends.
Shliach and educator Rabbi Schneur Chabib emceed in his very unique way.
Credit for the success of the event goes to menahel chinuchi Rav Yerachmiel Belinow, the driving force behind the cheder, as well the many extracurricular activities therein, such as Tzivos Hashem, and more.
Parents were especially appreciative of the Menahel Gashmi, Rabbi Mendy Greenfeld, who made available the funds for all the prizes, the seforim, the plane tickets, and the diplomas.
The menahel chinuchi thanked his wonderful staff of melamdim for their unparalleled dedication to the talmidim all year long – of itself an exceptionally successful year, as was evident from the amount of talmidim that were recognized for their many accomplishments.
The event was graced with the attendance and the words of the Rabbonim: Rav Yitzchok Yehuda Yeruslavsky, rov of Nachlas Har Chabad and head of the Beis Din Rabbonei Chabad in Eretz Yisroel, as well as Rav Yosef Yitzchok Belinow, rov of Central Bnei Brak, and head of the mosdos Chabad in Bnei Brak.
Special thanks go out to the Bnei Brak municipality, including Mayor Rabbi Avrohom Rubinstein, for all his assistance, as well as to Rabbi Peretz Abramowitz for his assistance all year round, together with Rabbi Yisrael Drenger.
