On an official visit to the US, Israel’s Foreign Minister Yisrael Katz visited the Rebbe’s Ohel where he wrote a heartfelt Pan asking for blessings on behalf of the entire Jewish people in Eretz Yisrael.

Shliach Rabbi Yosef Greenberg of Alaska presented the minister with the new English book “Make Peace,” summarizing the Rebbe’s stance that the only way to achieve lasting peace is by standing firm against all pressure.

The philanthropist Reb Yossi Michelashvili had invited the shliach from Alaska to host the minister and prepare him for writing the Pan.

The minister received a detailed explanation of the Rebbe’s approach regarding the integrity of Eretz Yisrael. The minister responded that had they heeded the Rebbe’s advice, they would not have faced the tragic events of October 7.

The minister, together with his wife Ronit, wrote the Pan with reverence and then recited the Rebbe’s perek of Tehillim before placing the Pan at the Ohel.
