Archive Portrays Early Days of Post War Yeshiva

A recent archive of photos of the early days of the Yeshiva Tomchei Tmimim Lubavitch, in Pocking and in Brunoy, France, was discovered by Shmuel Halpert and published online. Some have been published previously and some are seeing the light of day for the first time.

Some of the identities are still unknown. Can you help identify them in the comments?

  1. The first on the right is my father, Reb Sholom Ber Raskin followed by R’ Nissan Pinson and my uncle R’ Dovid Raskin.

  2. Thank you very much for the pictures!

Very heartwarming. Theses are the kind of things I would like to see on anash.org

    Keep up the good work!!!

  3. My father says the second picture after the window picture is Abba Balkin and he thinks the third to the last picture is Aharon Stein/Roth.
