After Years Online, Young Shluchim Reunite for Graduation
After years of learning together, the 8th grade boys of the Shluchim Online School finally gathered in New York for a long awaited graduation trip and in-person ceremony, packed with inspiration and trips including skiing, boating, visiting the Ohel, and Farbrenging together.
After years of learning together, the 8th grade boys of the Shluchim Online School finally gathered in New York for a long awaited graduation trip and in-person ceremony, packed with inspiration and trips including skiing, boating, visiting the Ohel, and farbrenging together.
The 8th grade boys graduating class from the Nigri Shluchim Online School gathered together in New York to celebrate their graduation with an exciting trip and in person ceremony.
The virtual school of the Shluchim Office provides a robust Chassidishe education for the sons and daughters of Chabad Shluchim throughout the world.
Traveling in from around the world, the Talmidim were so excited to celebrate the incredible milestone of graduating online school after years of learning together.
The program started with a special trip full of fun, inspiration and connection led by Rabbi Schneur Deren, Shluchim Online School Program Director and Rabbi Shmuly Litvin, dedicated Rebbi. The long awaited graduation trip was packed with trips including skiing, boating, visiting the Ohel and Farbrenging together.
“Most of the Talmidim have studied together since 1st grade, so finally joining their in person graduation ceremony was a massive milestone,” said Rabbi Yehoshua Steinberg, Nigri Shluchim Online School boys principal. “It was so special to celebrate these Talmidim who have grown into true Chassidim, Yirei Shomayim and Lamdonim.”
Culminating this impactful experience, the graduation ceremony hosted an overflowing crowd of proud parents, close relatives and friends. Many of the students shared Divrei Torah and words of Hakaras Hatov to the staff before receiving their diploma.
Two students, Shua Fischer and Laibel Kessler of the graduating class made a Siyum on Masechta Makos, they learnt the entire Masechta Baal Peh!
Special thanks to Rabbi Avraham Rubashkin for the hall and Rabbi Mayer Kosofsky and Sara Brikman for their effort and work in making the graduation ceremony such a success, and the entire Shluchim Office team for their help and support.
