One and a half months ago, Mendy Aharon, a 17-year-old bochur was leaving the Kfar Chabad yeshiva for a Shabbos off, when he was seriously injured by a car. Medics who arrived found unconscious, without a pulse, and not breathing – suffering from multi-system trauma. He was evacuated to Assaf Medical Center, where doctors fought for his life.

Anash around the world davened for his speedy recovery, and after two weeks, he miraculously woke up. Four weeks later, he was deemed healthy enough to be sent home.

His first trip after coming home was to visit and thank the medic who was instrumental in saving his life.

Mendy, together with his father, Rabbi Schneur Aharon, visited Chabad medic R’ Ariel Haddad, who was one of the first responders at the scene of the accident and who helped save his life.

Mendy expressed gratitude for the miracles Hashem had done for him, and he thanked Haddad for being the shliach for his miraculous recovery.
