This week marks the 100th-week anniversary of the “Tiffern Blick” Likkutei Sichos publication—a milestone in making the Rebbe’s teachings accessible to Yiddish-speaking communities. Established by Rabbi Yoel Naparstek two years ago on Yud Tes Kislev, the initiative has inspired hundreds of bachurim, yungeleit, and elder Chassidim to delve into the Rebbe’s sichos.
This week marks the 100th-week anniversary of the Tiffern Blick Likkutei Sichos publication—a milestone in making the Rebbe’s teachings accessible to Yiddish-speaking communities. Established by Rabbi Yoel Naparstek on the 19th of Kislev–Chanukah 5783, the initiative has inspired hundreds of bachurim, yungeleit, and elder Chassidim to delve into the awe-inspiring lessons of the Rebbe’s Sichos.
The Tiffern Blick provides a word-for-word Yiddish script of the Rebbe’s original Sichos, making Chassidus accessible in a personal and tangible way. Each issue includes headers that summarize key insights, side notes to guide beginner readers, and a clear layout designed for maximum accessibility and engagement.
By bridging the gap between the Rebbe’s profound teachings and the broader frum world, Tiffern Blick has sparked a transformation in countless lives. Their feedback talks for itself:
Just over a month ago, I gave a bachur a lift from Boro Park to Crown Heights. During our conversation, he asked, “Do you know about the Tiffern Blick that comes out every week?” He then shared his experience.
He and a group of fellow bachurim study the Tiffern Blick weekly. It wasn’t just casual learning for him, he took tests on the material and engaged deeply with its content. “It opened up a whole new world for me,” he said, his face beaming with enthusiasm.
A few days later, I saw him again at Hakafos in the Bais Menachem Lubavitch Shul in Boro Park. He greeted me with a radiant smile, dancing with unbridled joy. “Good Yom Tov!” he exclaimed, his pride and connection to Torah shining through.
Another story came from a neighbor in Boro Park. A visitor to his home—a man deeply involved in Kabbalah—noticed a stack of Tiffern Blick pamphlets and asked, “What do you have with this?” My neighbor replied, “What do you know about it?”
The visitor explained that his son brought home the Tiffern Blick pamphlets weekly and shared their content at the Shabbos table. Over time, his son’s enthusiasm drew him in, and they began learning the material together. This father-son bond over Torah study is a testament to the way Tiffern Blick fosters connection and spreads the Rebbe’s teachings to new circles.
The Tiffern Blick continues to grow, spreading Chassidus to ever-wider audiences. Each week, the Sichos are printed and distributed to shuls in Boro Park and beyond, and iIt is regularly published on Boro Park websites, receiving hundreds of downloads weekly. Over 300 bochurim in Boro Park have participated in its programs, taking tests and investing in the Rebbe’s teachings.
The lessons from the Sichos have enriched learners’ understanding of Yiddishkeit, offering guidance for daily life. Thirty years after Gimmel Tamuz, the Rebbe’s influence only continues to grow, inspiring diverse Chassidic communities through initiatives like Tiffern Blick.
As we celebrate 100 weeks of Tiffern Blick, we invite you to experience the Rebbe’s teachings firsthand. To receive the weekly pamphlet or join the program, contact Rabbi Yoel Naparstek at [email protected]. Together, let’s continue spreading the light of Chassidus to every corner of the world.
