36 Years Later, Woman Brings Miracle Son to 770
Thirty-six years ago, doctors urged an Israeli woman to abort her pregnancy after losing one twin. Instead, she wrote to the Rebbe, who gave her a Bracha for a healthy birth. This week, she visited 770 with that miracle son by her side.

Thirty-six years ago, Mrs. Tamar Behar, a woman living in Cholon, Eretz Yisroel, was expecting twins. Early in the pregnancy, she suffered complications and lost one of the fetuses. Doctors, concerned for her wellbeing, urged her to terminate the second as well. But she refused, firmly holding on to hope.
At seven months, new complications developed with the remaining fetus. The medical team once again pressed her to end the pregnancy, warning of serious risks. She continued to resist, but the pressure and fear were taking a toll.
Unsure what to do, and somewhat familiar with Chabad, she decided to write a letter to the Rebbe. The Rebbe responded with a letter giving her a bracha for an easy and healthy birth. Encouraged by the Rebbe’s words, she chose to move forward, trusting the Rebbe’s bracha, despite the doctors’ predictions.
Against all odds, she gave birth to a healthy baby boy.
This week, for the first time in her life, she visited 770. Standing beside her was that very same son, now a grown man, born against all odds 36 years ago thanks to the Rebbe’s bracha.
Thank you for sharing this beautiful story.
Based on the date of the letter, i think it’s 35 years.
