300-Page Sefer of Rabbi Wagner’s Writings Published in Seven Days

On the day that shiva concluded for Toronto Rosh Yeshiva Rabbi Akiva Wagner, his students had already compiled his ha’oros on the Rebbe’s Torah and published them in a 300-page book.

A 300-page sefer containing ha’oros on the Rebbe’s Torah, authored by Toronto Rosh Yeshiva Rabbi Akiva Wagner, was published by his students in less than a week.

Rabbi Wagner authored many hundreds of pages of chidushei Torah from when he was a bochur and through the 25-plus years he served as rosh yeshiva. Along with his in-depth shiurim on Gemara, he had a special koch in the Rebbe’s Torah and published tens of ha’oros on Likkutei Sichos, ma’amorim, Igros Kodesh, Reshimos and the Rebbe’s unedited sichos.

Following his passing this past week, a number of his students immediately began collecting his writings on all fields of Torah to publish them. In order to publish a sefer in the shortest time possible, they began with his ha’oros on the Rebbe’s Torah that had been published in kovtzei ha’oros over the past 25 years.

After many hours of work, and a few sleepless nights, the bochurim, Chaim Muss, Chaim Aryeh Jacobson, Chezky Lever, and Mendel Labkowski, managed to publish the sefer in less than a week, for the last day of shiva.

A few hundred copies were immediately printed and distributed to family and close students, and a few hundred additional ones were printed a few days later. They are now continuing to collect his ha’oros and Torah essays on all other topics.

The ma’areches asks those with Rabbi Wagner’s ha’oros or shiurim to email them to [email protected].
