Notwithstanding difficulties posed by the coronavirus pandemic, 20 Bochurim in Tomchei Tmimim of Queens memorized the entire Masechta Kidushin by heart.
Yeshivas Tomchei Tmimim of Queens held an evening to honor the bochurim that memorized Masechta Kidushin by heart over the past year.
Despite the difficulties that came about due to Corona, twenty students were involved in the Mivtza Torah.
A big surprise came when one of the friends of the yeshiva offered an expensive electronic watch to each one of the bochurim that participated in the Mivtza Torah.
The event was attended by the chairman of the yeshiva, Rabbi Mendel Hendel, along with the menahel ruchni, Rabbi Mendel Scharf, and the menahel gashmi, Rabbi Menachem Baruch.
The bochurim heard words of inspiration from the organizer of the Mivtza Torah, Rabbi Shamai Edelman, as well from Rabbi Yisroel Noach Lipsker, a mashpia in the Yeshiva.
A number of the talmidei hashluchim shared words as well, including Moshe Tauber and Yudi Matusof, who also gave out the prizes for the Mivtza Hachono that was held in honor of Yud Shevat, where bochurim memorized three Maamorim of Bosi L’Gani by heart.
The event took place at the Yeshivas Kayitz in the Ohr Menachem campus in the Poconos mountains.
