In honor of the 80th anniversary of 28 Sivan, the Shluchim of Woodbridge and Kleinburg, Ontario arranged a Tanya printing in two Canadian cities that have never had a Tanya printing before.
Rabbi Shalom Bakshi, the Shliach to Woodbridge and Kleinburg, Ontario, began working on this project a few months ago and with hashgacha pratis it ended up being printed at the very same day of Koach Sivan when the Rebbe and the Rebbetzin arrived safely in America and thus began a new era in Hafatzas Hamaayanos
As per the Rebbe’s directive, Rabbi Bakshi learned few lines from the hot sheets of Tanya with those who attended in person. In addition, the community was invited to a virtual presentation on zoom to learn from Perek 32 of Tanya.
Among the participants, was the Head Shliach of Southern Ontario Rabbi Zalman Aharon Grossbaum, who came especially to a share in this historical project.
Rabbi Bakshi pointed out that the Tanya was print on large format with top quality bindings, and would like to thank all those who contributed toward this initiative.
