18-Week Course to Present the Rebbe’s Vision for Lasting Peace
A new 18-week course titled “End the Cycle,” by author of Make Peace, Rabbi Elisha Pearl, will present a practical framework for understanding the roots of the Arab-Israeli conflict according to the Rebbe and what can be done to finally end the cycle of violence.
A new 18-week course by Chabad.org titled “End the Cycle” will explore the Rebbe’s strategic vision for achieving true and lasting peace in Eretz Yisroel. Based on the acclaimed book Make Peace (Sichos In English), which distills thousands of pages of the Rebbe’s commentary into a clear and accessible guide, the course will present a practical framework for understanding the roots of the Arab-Israeli conflict and what can be done to finally end the cycle of violence.
Two years have passed since October 7, yet that day remains vivid in our minds. The pain is still raw. The danger is still real, and all the hostages are still not home. As we continue to pray for their safe return, we must ask: How can this end? Must the Land of Israel face endless rounds of bloodshed? Is there a true path to peace—lasting peace—for Israel and the entire region?
For over half a century, world leaders have pursued peace in the Middle East, investing billions of dollars and immeasurable effort. Despite this, Israel’s security and regional stability remain precarious.
“End the Cycle” will guide participants through the Rebbe’s perspective on Israel’s security, placing his insights within the broader context of Jewish thought, military strategy, and Israel’s modern history.
Each week, participants will receive a new installment that includes historical context and thoughtful commentary on practical steps toward peace. They will also be able to engage in online discussions, share reflections, and gain insights from others following the course.
The course is taught by Rabbi Elisha Pearl, author of Make Peace and a writer and researcher at Sichos In English. The series will feature exclusive videos of Rabbi Pearl addressing key themes from each week’s topic, adding a dynamic and visual dimension to the experience. A live Q&A session will also allow participants to submit their own questions and hear answers grounded in the Rebbe’s teachings.
The 18-week series premieres Cheshvan 12 (November 3), with new installments released weekly.
