Post-Shavuos Kinus Torah Held in 770

As is customary, a Kinus Torah was held in 770 following the Yom Tov of Shavuos. Speakers included Rabbis Zalman Labkovsky, Yosef Braun, Berel Levine, Shloimy Kaplan, Shmuel Kraus, and Meir Berenshtein.

Led by Rabbi Schneur Zalman Labkovsky, Rosh Yeshiva of the Yeshiva at 770, the Kinus began with a sicha of the Rebbe on Bar Metzra shared by Rabbi Meir Berenshtein.

Rabbi Yosef Braun spoke at length about the yemei hatashlumin for Shavuos and their halachic ramifications.

Rabbi Berel Levine spoke about netilas yadayim and the timing of the bracha.

Rabbi Shloimy Kaplan spoke about the power of speech in halacha and when and how it could be cancelled.

Rabbi Shmuel Kraus spoke about the date of the Baal Shem Tov’s histalkus and kevurah.
