Thanks for the well written article, maybe worth adding that the Rebbe never mentioned “the state of Israel ” when referring to anything concerning connecting to Erets Yisroel, it was always “ERETS HAKODESH ”
He was more careful then the Satmer chassidim !!!

In reply to rebbes letter. The English letters (generally addressed to Peter Kalms, who acted as somewhat of a go-between for the Rebbe and Rabbi Jacobowitz) are printed in the back of "Make Peace", in Kalms' book "Guidance from the Rebbe," and are also available on the Rebbe Responsa App. The Hebrew letters to Jacobowitz have been published in various magazines such as kfar Chabad.

i remember reading a letter from the rebbe to sir emanuel jacobowitz where the rebbe states clear that the only reason he is against giving away land is pikuach nefesh and all other things he says is just to counter other arguments
where could i find this letter
