Yes, very nice that 10 years ago you could get kicked out for having a smartphone. You know 100 years ago you could get kicked out for something that everyone normal does today.
THINGS CHANGE
Nowadays its normal for people to have smartphones, and if they’re taking steps to make it more kosher and healthy for them by deleting social media apps, then you say “WELL DONE!! YOUR AMAZING!!”
You don’t go comparing to what people did 10 years ago, because it’s actually 10 years later.

Thats the lesson? When did it become necessary for every Lubavitcher, in Yeshivos or Girls Schools, to have a smart phone?

Ten years ago such devices would get you kicked out of any Lubavitch Mossod, and we were better for it.

We are setting up out children for failure. Shame on us.
