The fundamental difference between our shita and theirs is, by us the inspiration comes from our own avoda and understanding (obviously with the koichos of the rebbe) 
By them however, its all about the feelings their rebbe provides them with. Especially through “reiyah” sight. If they didn’t have a gashmiyusdikeh rebbe, then the chassidus is kind of non existent anymore. That’s why it is so much more rebbe centered and thats why they’ll have to make this work even if they don’t see in him what they saw in their previous rebbe etc, because that is the derech they believe in.
