Re the topic how much to drink of Kiddosh cup…..in the Rebbe’s Haggafah comments he discusses the Kiddish cup being the first of the 4 cups and the personal obligation to drink etc.
By Kiddush..no one person and neither the occasion necessitates a “drinking”
It’s al hayayin….and the drinking is part of a Birkas nehenin issue rather than a Kiddush concern
