I suffered tremendously with the complexity of growing up with divorced parents.

I wish divorced parents went to therapy and dealt with their own issues instead of sucking out soothing from their kids and making their kids the ones responsible to take care of their parents emotions.
A kid isn't a therapist. Parents should get a real therapist to in order to deal with their pain and their issues.

Not all single parents do this to their kids, but some do.

Divorce itself is a tremendous tragedy, but walking the road alone without worrying with a reputable therapist - is the road to further no good.
Every parent wants to be kind to their child. They just need to get the blockages out of the way.
This actually applies to any parent: put your child at the center. Not yourself.

May we have Moshiach Now.
