A special thing he told over was about the emotional farewell of hundreds of chassidim and yidden gathering at the train station in Riga on 24 Adar I 5700 to see off the Frierdiker Rebbe as he departed to Stockholm from where he embarked to America. Being during the war time and the beginning of the Holocaust this was a very emotional event.
