Obviously I wasn’t going to get any of the local jewish appliance repairmen on Erev Pesach, so I opened the yellow pages (I guess it was more than just a few years ago) and picked a random appliance repair guy.

A nice Russian yid comes and fixes the oven…, and puts on tefillin and gets shmurah matzah for his seder.

(Without getting into the technical details, the problem with the oven was something that does not make any sense technically – whatever the guy did I had to undo a week later because of new errors)
